設計上の考慮事項

Battery test equipment is designed to measure the battery characteristics during and after the manufacturing process. The battery capacity, output impedance, state-of-charge and state-of-health are some of the parameters that are measured with very high accuracy by applying and monitoring precise voltage and current during charge and discharge cycles.

TI’s reference designs demonstrate various sub-modules and building blocks used in the battery test equipment. The battery chargers and gauges at Texas Instruments with integrated DACs , ADCs and Rsense resistors are a great choice to satisfy the ever increasing demand for creating, monitoring and controlling the precise charging and discharging I/V profiles during battery testing. The wide selection of TI’s FPGA power designs help enable the control loop design for battery testers. TI also offers a variety of very high power management solutions to satisfy the increased demand for power during the charging process.
