K-Type Thermocouple Measurement (–200°C to +1250°C)

Figure 76 shows the basic connections of a thermocouple measurement system when using an external high-precision temperature sensor for cold-junction compensation. Apart from the thermocouple itself, the only external circuitry required are two biasing resistors, a simple low-pass, antialiasing filter, and the power-supply decoupling capacitors.
