Power Supply Recommendations

The LM74500-Q1 reverse polarity protection controller is designed for the supply voltage range of 3.2 V ≤ VSOURCE ≤ 65 V. If the input supply is located more than a few inches from the device, an input ceramic bypass capacitor higher than 22 nF is recommended. To prevent LM74500-Q1 and surrounding components from damage under the conditions of a direct output short circuit, it is necessary to use a power supply having over load and short circuit protection.
