Overview

The TPS7A53EVM-080 evaluation module (EVM) is a platform for evaluating the operation and performance of the TPS7A53A-Q1 voltage regulator. This EVM configuration contains a single low-noise, small-size, linear regulator for a wide range of applications. The regulator is capable of delivering up to 3 A to the load with low-dropout (LDO) input voltage (VIN) to output voltage (VOUT).

For stability, use a minimum derated capacitance of 25-µF (or larger) output capacitor. An added high-performance load transient circuit is included to improve the measurement capability of the LDO regulator.
